Website or online tool that gives me personal projections
Legal & General (L&G), our pension provider, launched the 3-1 Retirement Planner in January 2017 to help members of the AHBRSP and AE Scheme plan for retirement.

You will need to login to Manage Your Account (MYA) in order to access this feature as it will take into account personal details, such as your age/ gender, contributions and projected retirement age.

The Planner allows members to:

  • project the size of their savings pot at their selected retirement date;
  • calculate the level of income they’ll need to maintain their desired standard of living;
  • explore options for taking their money.

If you have not done so already, registering for MYA is simple – but if you’d like some help, L&G have produced a step-by-step guide or you can watch this video.

Booklet that clearly explains my options
So that you can make an informed decision about the options we offer to help you save for retirement, the ‘Building a nest egg’ booklet explains the key differences between the AHBRSP and AE Scheme. For people who want to understand how they can take their retirement savings and the new pension freedoms, L&G has produced a guide called ‘Freedom and Choice’.
